February 2, 2010
Our friend Nichole (at Little Brown Pen) regularly puts together wonderfully creative color collages using images from around Paris. Her gray collage manages to capture the feeling of winter in Paris perfectly…

Nichole began the Paris Color Project when she moved to Paris in January 2009. What started as daily blog photos blossomed into a three-year project.
Chronicle Books is publishing a collection of her photos in Spring 2012. When she's not photographing Paris, eating French butter, or baking cake,
she's writing. Nichole co-runs a multidisciplinary creative studio with her husband Evan, and writes copy for clients like Real Simple, Bravo TV, Tribal DDB, Amala Beauty and Estee Lauder brands.

Grey is my favorite color! Love the photos – thanks for sharing!
For some reason I love the grays the most. Paris is certainly gray in the winter, but I agree with Erin … it’s a beautiful, mysterious gray.
I even like the rain in Paris. Can’t figure out why.
paris is alive with color but i agree its muted tones are inspirational as well
Nichole does take amazing photos indeed!
wow, one of the most beautiful photo collections! I love color arrangements and themes, and this gray theme is so perfect for Paris. For some reason I feel grey in that city…but definitely not a boring gray, just a very mysterious and exciting gray.
