Love (and rain) are in the air in Paris these days. Aside from Valentine’s Day festivities with your cheri(e), here are our favorite events around Paris this month:
HOPUP D’HIVER I, the winter pop-up meal series from Les Dîners Bons, is happening this week. Three meals – dinners Thursday and Friday nights and brunch Saturday morning – will feature three chefs and three brasseurs who will create seasonal meal-beer pairings for just 21eur for three courses.
Les Jeudis Arty, the tri-annual art evenings when Marais galleries remain open past regular hours, returns this Thursday as well, from 6-10pm. For more information on which galleries are participating and which artists will be present, peek here.
Plans for this weekend should definitely take Paris Face Cachée into consideration. Running from February 5 – 7, for the 5th year in a row, attendees can get a glimpse into spaces normally closed off to the public.
An exceptional exhibition showcasing Portuguese artist Helena Almeida’s work opens at the Jeu de Paume on the 9th, and we continue the arty events with a Jean-Michel Alberola exhibition at the Palais de Tokyo opening February 19th.
One-half of the etherial The XX is coming to Paris. Tickets are still available for Jamie XX’s show at the Zenith on February 24th – opened by Four Tet and Bambounou.
