From June 9 – 11, the first edition of the Fresh Air Festival will take place in the 10th arrondissement. Hosted by Les Others, a print and digital magazine for lovers of travel and photography, the weekend features the release of the 5th volume of the magazine, photography expositions and workshops, and plenty of tasty bites and beers.

Fans of Basque country won’t want to miss the 2nd edition of Paris – Basque festival from June 16 – 18 at Au Trinquet in the 16th arrondissement. Sports, gastronomy, folklore and the Basque art of living… the event brings together the best of the region for an ideal warm-weather weekend fit for the full family.

Electronic-acoustic beats will be emanating from the Bois de Boulogne on June 17th. Superpoze, who released their last album in February, will be joined by SG Lewis, La Fine Equipe, and LESKA at La Clairière. For ticketing information, head here.

From June 17 – 18, La Fête de la Récup’ is taking up residence at the Halle des Blancs Manteaux in the Marais. Forty associations, collectives, and artists will come together to celebrate the art of recycled objects and sustainable consumption. In addition to the market, the event will feature musical performances, fashion shows, and creative workshops.

We close out the month with the Salon Emmaüs on June 25th at the Porte de Versailles. A massive marketplace of upcycled goods from France’s 150 Emmaüs locations, this salon is a bargain-hunters dream. The event also includes DIY workshops, street artist installations, a “flash tattoo” stand, and organic food trucks.
