June is the official start of Paris’ summer season, the beginning of months of fun under the sun. In addition to our favorite recurring June music festivals and events (more info below), this month is full of dates to add to your social calendar and there’s something for everyone, from foodies and art lovers to bargain hunters and apéro seekers.

Kick off the month with an exposition devoted to cult street art icon Banksy at the Musée du Graffiti, which takes place for a limited time only: 2-6pm on June 1. Later this month head to the Louvre to check out two new exhibitions that open on June 27: Italian drawings from the Collection Mariette and drawings from the artist Antoine-Jean Gros.
