It’s November, and this year really seems to have gone by in the blink of an eye. While the weather might have cooled, it’s time to do as the Parisians do and get your scarves out and enjoy what the city has to offer.

Fashion

Second-hand clothing lovers shouldn’t miss the Fashion Flea Market on November 2nd at Le Carreau du Temple. Organized by Violette Sauvage in collaboration with My Little Paris, the Fashion Flea Market is inspired by urban markets like London’s Portobello. Discover the best in second-hand fashion with hundreds of brands in this 2000 m2 space, featuring nearly 400 stalls.

Art

It’s all about photography in November in Paris, with PhotoSaintGermain starting on November 6, Paris Photo on November 7, and Fotofever kicking off the next day, November 8. As part of Paris Photo, support women artists by checking out 30 Under 30 Women Photographers at Galerie Claude Samuel, which also starts on November 8.

Coinciding with the blockbuster exhibition at the Louvre, Fluctuart is hosting a de Vinci exhibition of its very own. Opening on November 8, VENI, VIDI, VINCI, L’ART URBAIN FACE AU GÉNIE will consist of 20 international street artists paying hommage to the artist.

Combine cocktails and art at Drink n’ Draw on November 10 at La Mezcaleria. No matter your skill level, learn the techniques of two Mexican artists accompanied by a tasting of Mexican cuisine by chef Juan Carlos Récamier and La Mezcaleria’s famous cocktails.

You have until October 11 to discover Passe, Passera organized by Les Ateliers d’Artistes de Belleville. This art trail reflects on the passage of time, taking place at nine locations in the 20th arrondissement and highlighting the work of 25 artists. 

Music and Dance

There are plenty of fun nights coming up at the popular Supersonic this month. The Dancing with Myself Night of 80s Pop is on November 1st, the Electric Feel Night of Indie Pop is on the 2nd, and the Rebel Rebel Night of 70s Rock is on the 23rd

Mac DeMarco / Passe, Passera

Australian producer and DJ Flume is playing at at the Zénith at La Villette on November 3 while Canadian singer Mac DeMarco is on November 15. I’ve seen DeMarco perform live in Australia and trust me, he’s good!

Have you always wanted to learn Flamenco? Here’s your chance! Attend the Flamenco Masterclass with Adela Campallo at Flamenco en France on November 13, 14 or 17.

For six hours of non-stop music, head to Marathon! at La Gaîté Lyrique on November 30th, where more than 40 artists will take the stage mixing a variety of musical styles, from techno and psychedelic to minimalist and marimba.

Cocktails or wine…or both? Paris Cocktail Festival is on November 16th at Elysée Montmartre and Salon de Vignerons Indépendants de Paris is on November 28th at Porte de Versailles.
