		<description>Hi Suzy... thanks for your comment! As far as I know, land line owners aren&#039;t charged for incoming calls, but they are charged for outgoing calls to cell phones. All the phone providers in Paris have slightly different rules, but I think that&#039;s the standard. Hope this helps! Tory</description>

My mom lives there (a bit south of Montmartre, rue de Rochechouard) and says that cell to landline calls cost the landline owner. She gets me so confused that by the time she&#039;s &quot;explained&quot; it to me I&#039;m back where I started. 

I read your blog piece on it but thought you might be able to answer the question more directly? 

Anyway, your blog is very nostalgic for me, as I spent a good part of my life there. Hope you&#039;re enjoying it all.</description>
