wow! glad I came here to your site, very helpful for a first timer visitor in Paris!

Hello,
Thank you for this lovely article and contest.
Paris has a charming vibe during the winter holidays, however, I must say that one of my favourite place to hang out during that special time of the year is the Jardin du Luxembourg area. It is beautifully decorated and I always like treating myself to Angelica’s and getting their famous and decadent hot chocolate !

it’s the *pantheon*, not the *parthenon*, those are not in the same country 😉

Changed. Thanks for catching!

Heading to Paris for Christmas right now! Can’t wait to follow your walks as we are staying in the Marais. My favourite quick bite has to be L’As de Fallafel, 34 Rue des Rosiers, Le Marais… Love the Israeli style food there. There is always a queue so it must appeal to many people. I’ve even queued in the rain!

I have never been to Paris at Christmas and I would love to see everything! So my favorite would have to be all of Paris. 🙂

My favorite place is the Trocadero at near sunset watching the sky change over the Eiffel Tower and the first “twinkling” of the lights on the tower.

My favourite place in Paris during the holidays is Galeries Lafayette. The window displays are always lovely and the tree inside, particularly in the evening when it is dark, it always feels so christmassy!

My favorite place is the Christmas markets on Champs Elysées. Everything smells and looks so good there.

I was a French teacher and now try to go to Paris each year for a month. I have a favorite apartment on the Ile St. Louis that feels like home. I spend forever mostly walking. I would say the Musée Cluny and the Musée des Arts Decoratifs are my fave museums. my favorite café is in the 4th. i believe it is called Au cheval de fer. it has a horseshoe shaped bar in front. It was designed in the 30’s and the inside reflects that. I go there and they know what I love! Other than that, any place in Paris is special!
