For many Americans, Thanksgiving is the most important holiday of the year. It’s a time to be thankful and to bring together your closest family and friends over a hearty meal. However, expats living in Paris can’t always make it back home. Nor is it easy to prepare a Turkey Day feast considering that turkeys need to be ordered in advance and other ingredients can be hard, and expensive, to come by. If you’re looking for a hassle-free Thanksgiving in Paris, you can enjoy a delicious meal in good company at these fantastic restaurants.

Advanced reservations are required and can be made here

Coffee Parisien

This trendy American-diner-meets-Parisian-café first opened in 1990 and now has three locations around town. Coffee Parisien‘s breakfast favorites, burgers, and other American classics are all made with exceptional ingredients sourced directly from small artisanal producers. These will be found in their Thanksgiving menu of a salad or pumpkin soup, turkey with stuffing, sweet potato mash, veggies, and pumpkin pie—all for the very reasonable price of 25€.

As a regular visitor to Paris during the Thanksgiving holiday, our best dining experience by far was
at Restaurant Michel Rostang. The Thanksgiving dinner, complete with roasted turkey, potatoes stuffing and a collection of fresh vegetables rivaled any American chef’s efforts. Combined with a wonderful selection of French wines and a fabulous chocolate souffle is an experience not to be missed.

Sound delicious. Thank you for the tip Albert!
