With just hours to go, there are still hundreds of thousands of tickets available for the 2024 Paris Olympics. This includes venues around France (such as Marseille, Lyon, Nice and Bordeaux). At the time of writing, you can still grab tickets for as little as € 15.00 for activities such as soccer. Those with deeper pockets can still attend the opening and closing ceremonies starting at € 1600.00 and € 600.00 respectively. New tickets are being added everyday on the Paris 2024 website and app.

Last Minute Deals

Paris has surprisingly been empty of tourists due in part to inflated prices and security measures. The Paris Tourism authority estimated 4 million less visitors than originally projected. What does this mean for bargain hunters? Great last minute travel deals. This includes flights as low as around $500 round trip from NYC to Paris. You can find deals on hotels too, which have struggled to book rooms.

Why so Many Tickets Available?

Many people bought tickets well in advance of the events but experienced a change in plans. Some were allocated tickets for teams and events they were not interested in. As well, many locals frustrated by disruptions and wanting to escape crowds during the Paris Olympics have decided to leave the city.

The only authorized retailer is the 2024 Official Ticket App.

Where to Watch the Games for Free?

Want to soak up the festive atmosphere without the high prices, security and hassle? Celebration zones, known as Club 2024, have been set up during the games. They are free sites open to the public in each department of the Île de France. There will be giant screens for you to watch the events. There will also be food and other activities so the general public can meet up with friends and family to celebrate the historic event. You can find full details of the 2024 Olympic Celebration Zones on the French Government’s website.
