For most Parisians, this week isn’t any different from any other week of the year. A few restaurants and hotels might be a bit busier than usual, but other than that, you wouldn’t necessarily notice it’s fashion week in Paris if you don’t want to.

I, on the other hand, look forward to this week like a little kid does Christmas morning. It’s the week when the city fills with unusually attractive and well-dressed tourists hailing from fashion capitals the world over, when my biggest idols are walking the same streets as me, and when I get the chance to feast my eyes on the clothes and accessories I otherwise see only in my dreams.

And this week was no exception! When else do I get the chance to run into Jessica Chastain (oh yes, that happened), see Grace Coddington walk up beside me or accidentally step on Carine Roitfeld’s toes? Exactly.

Even though I’ve enjoyed every second of this fashion week I must admit that I’m a little relieved that it’s over now. I’m exhausted and need to recover from all the pushing, the countless people who have stepped on my sore feet, and the numerous cameras that have collided with my head. Yes, fashion week is fun, but it’s a risky business too!

Fashion week is super fun! We thought we were going to loose our feet with all the running and that horrible freezing weather, but it was worth it!
